---POWDER COAT FINISHES and RAW METAL---
? All of our items excluding the raw metal options are powder coated. We use a high-grade powder coat finish to color our items. Powder coating provides a beautiful long-lasting finish but like most household items, it will require proper care and maintenance. All items should be handled with care.
? Our powder coat manufacturer recommends that a clear coat sealant be added over the powder coat at least once every 1-2 years for any products that are used in ordinary outdoor conditions in order to extend the life of the finish.
? AN ADDITIONAL CLEAR-COAT SEALANT WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ITEMS BEING DISPLAYED IN EXTREME OUTDOOR CONDITIONS - All of our powder coat finishes are weather resistant for normal indoor/outdoor use, but if your item will be in prolonged, intense direct sunlight (ie. desert type conditions??), or if you live within 75 miles of a marine (salt) body of water (ie. beach/coastal type conditions???), you will need to apply an additional clear-coat sealant to your Metal Art to extend the life of your powder coat finish and protect it from premature weathering/chalking/rusting/corroding if your item will be displayed outside in either of these extreme climatic/geographic conditions. PLEASE NOTE: Saltwater/salty sea air is known to be quite corrosive even in a matter of months and it will require a periodic application of a clear-coat sealant at least once per year to maintain the integrity of the powder coat finish. (Possibly more often in some cases***)
? WE OFFER an additional UV/Chemical/Corrosion resistant Clear Powder-Coating Add-On! If your Metal Art will be exposed to intense conditions (mentioned above) or if you simply want to extend the longevity of your finish, we will coat your item with UV/Chemical/Corrosion resistant Clear Powder-Coating 'in house' for a flat-fee...you can get more information or order by clicking the listing link:
? If your powder coat chips be sure to IMMEDIATELY touch up the spot with a clear coat sealant to reseal the raw metal underneath to prevent rusting.
? Raw Steel is bare un-coated steel. RAW STEEL CAN RUST even if kept indoors. If the metal is exposed to moisture or humidity it will rust, even inside the shipping box. Refunds/replacements will not be given for rusting or scratched raw steel items.
? FOR RAW METAL ONLY SIGNS - Raw Metal without a clear coat WILL rust and/or weather, even indoors. The clear coat sealant will protect the sign from rusting and weathering. If you ordered a Raw Metal Only sign and would like us to add a clear coat to your item, please order the UV Sealant Add-On within 24 hours of placing your original order. ALL RAW METAL may show flaws and imperfections that naturally exist in the metal. This may include scratches, flecks, gouges, burns, rings, dark spots, etc. This can give the metal a unique, rustic, or rugged appearance that very popular in the 'Modern Farmhouse Décor' style. If you would like these characteristics covered, we recommend selecting a colored powder coat finish. Raw Metal also varies in color from light silver to black depending on the mill lot...we have no control over the color of raw metal.
----CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & EXCHANGES----
? Due to our exceedingly rapid turn-around time we DO NOT offer cancellations or changes. (ie. By the time most customers decide to cancel or make a change to their order, their item has likely already been cut)
? Items are custom made-to-order therefore I DON'T accept returns or exchanges BUT please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
--------DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS--------
? If the item you ordered arrives defective or incorrect, PLEASE contact me through the messaging system to discuss. Please allow me to respond to your issue before leaving feedback on your order, my goal is for my customers to have a positive experience and I ask for the opportunity to make things right if my shop is at fault.
? Items DAMAGED BY SHIPPING---In the event that your item is damaged during shipping we offer two options:
1.) 50% refund if the customer is willing to straighten the item themselves (applies to metal art, metal is malleable and often can be bent back into place) OR 2.) We will replace the item with a new one.

**Please carefully proof-read your personalization spelling, monogram

? We do not provide free "PROOFS" or "MOCK-UPS" for custom/personalized items, excepting custom design projects, this keeps our our production rate fast and costs low so that we can offer extremely competitive prices and short lead-times.

-------SHIPPING AND DAYS OF OPERATION---------
?? Once the shipping provider has confirmed an order status as being "delivered" in tracking, we are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or missing packages. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that their package is able to be delivered to a secure location.
? Please note that our shop is in operation during M-F business days only, we reserve weekends and Holidays for family time. Our production/ship-out countdown is based on full (non-holiday) business days only. For example, if a customer were to order on a Friday afternoon the production countdown would begin on Monday morning.
? We offer free shipping on all products via USPS Priority and/or UPS Ground (based solely on our discretion) in the contiguous continental United States. If ordering from Alaska or Hawaii please message me for a shipping quote BEFORE placing an order. We do not do offer EXPEDITED shipping or shipping HOLDS at this time. If you need your shipping deferred please contact your local Postmaster and inquire about having your mail/deliveries 'held' until a later date.
? Please note that we cannot control operating hours of USPS/UPS. If your order has been shipped out of our shop and is in USPS/UPS custody, if USPS/UPS isn’t running due to it being a Sunday/Holiday, then your item will ship at their next available convenience.

ADDRESS CHANGES: .....If an address change needs to be made mid-production we cannot do so internally because according to the platform rules, the address you provided MUST MATCH the shipping address, so once you receive a tracking number you will need to contact the shipping provider to attempt to have your package rerouted from that point. Once your item ships we are unable to change your address nor can we reroute it while in transit.
? RETURNS:
? If a package is shipped out of our shop and while in-transit is determined not able to be deliverable by the carrier due to the customer providing incorrect/out-dated/invalid (including autocorrect typo) address information OR is returned to us for any reason, it is the CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY to pay for the return postage due and shipping fees to have the package reshipped.
? If a 'return to sender' has been processed, it can take weeks or even months for the package to arrive back to our shop.
? If a 'return to sender' package is lost in-transit on it's way back to our shop, we are not responsible to refund or replace that item, as RapidArc is NOT the party whom submitted a faulty address at the time the order was placed and therefore did NOT set the said chain of events in motion that resulted in a missing/lost package or any accrued return/reship postage.
? *If a customer refuses to pay return shipping then order will be considered to be 'abandoned' and a refund/replacement will not be issued by our shop.
? *If a customer refuses to accept the item they ordered thereby triggering a 'return to sender', a refund for the item SHALL NOT be issued because the customer did not enter into to a "Return Agreement" with RapidArc and is not eligible to bring a case per platform rules.

---------------------MOUNTING IDEAS----------------------
? Mounting holes may be requested at checkout for all Monograms and all other items come with mounting holes.
? Mounting hardware is not included.
? Handle your Metal Art with care while mounting...treat your item in the same careful manner that you would treat your vehicle's paint job or your patio furniture's powder-coat finish. Your Metal Art is a decorative item and it will scratch or chip if bumped against hard or rough surfaces during the mounting process.
? Many customers use coated pan-head screws to mount their Metal Art, *a #6 SIZED SCREW WILL FIT THROUGH THE MOUNTING HOLES. The mounting holes will also accommodate standoff spacers as well.
? Customers share that they have also used panel nails (indoors), Command Strips (for very light small items) and coated mounting magnets to mount their Metal Sign Art.
? Screws/nails come in several different colors, materials, and coatings and can be found online, big-box stores or hardware stores. If you’re unsure what to use please consult with your local hardware store and they will help you to choose the best hardware for your particular situation (ie vinyl siding/stucco/wood/brick/drywall etc).
? STUCCO: Being from Michigan we don’t have a lot of experience with stucco in our northern state, but I would recommend consulting with your local hardware store and I am confident they will steer you in the right direction as to what type of screws/wall anchors work best with stucco.
? BRICK: Most customers drill into the mortar between the bricks to then use masonry screws/wall anchors to mount their metal art to brick, I would recommend consulting with your local hardware store as to what type of masonry screws will work best when mounting to brick.
? VINYL SIDING: You may mount your Metal Art to vinyl siding using screws. Customers who do not want to put holes in their siding have shared that they have found special mounting hooks designed for vinyl siding on Amazon and at their local hardware store, we aren't familiar with them nor endorse their use but they may be worth a look.
? As with mounting any item, please be sure that you use enough hardware so that your item is properly secured and supported for its size, weight and the conditions it will be displayed in and also be sure to choose hardware that is intended for either indoor or outdoor use. **Please remember that it’s advisable to use rubber, plastic, or nylon washers behind your screw-heads and IT’S VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN YOUR SCREWS, doing so could result in your powder coat cracking or chipping.
? Please know that we are neither carpentry experts nor structural engineers and are not giving advice…. we are simply sharing ideas based on personal and customer reported experiences which is intended for informational purposed only… we are not responsible for any negative results from any mounting strategy choices.
-------------------CARE INSTRUCTIONS-------------------
? Your Metal Art is fully POWDER COATED, front and back, making your item safe to display indoors or outdoors. To ensure that your item stays in the best condition please use the following guidelines.
(PLEASE NOTE: It is not uncommon for satin texture finishes to be slightly dusty at first and there may have a bit of excess powder inside the box as well but please know that is NOT an indication that there’s an issue with the integrity or performance of the powder-coating.)
? Powder coating provides a beautiful long-lasting finish but like most household items, it will require proper care and maintenance.
? Handle all items with care.
? To retain and preserve the integrity of your piece's powder coated finish, especially if you plan to display it outdoors, we recommended that you avoid chipping, scratching or otherwise damaging the powder coating to ensure the piece remains fully weather-resistant.
? Please be advised that brick, concrete, stucco or any rough/bumpy surface can seriously scratch or chip your item’s powder coated surface so take the necessary precautions to not push or slide your item across rough surfaces while handling and mounting your piece so it will remain intact and beautiful.
? If your powder coat finish is inadvertently marred/scratched/chipped it can be remedied by IMMEDIATELY touching up the spots by applying a clear coat sealant to reseal the raw metal to prevent rusting.
? Your powder coat finish may be washed by using warm soapy (mild soap) water ONLY with a soft non-abrasive sponge or cloth.
? Do not use any cleaner on your item that you would not use on your car. Do not use bleach, pressure washing solution, or any harsh cleaners.
? Our powder coat manufacturer recommends that a clear coat sealant be added over the powder coat at least once every 1-2 years for any products that are used outdoors in order to extend the life of the finish. Saltwater/ salt-air is a known corrosive, if you are located within 75 miles of saltwater, you may require a clear coat more often to maintain the finish.
